Decap Roc

This concrete floor cleaner removes any residual grease and curing agent to prepare it for final finishing.

Typical applications:

  • Concrete floors cured with Roc Cure or other resin-based curing agents

Product Description

Decap Roc is a liquid solvent-based cleaner for new concrete floors. It is mixed with water on site, and applied as a concrete preparation to a cured concrete surface. It removes residual curing agents to leave a matt concrete surface.

For resin-based curing agents

Decap Roc is designed to remove our Roc Cure curing agent, but will also remove other resin-based curing agents too.

Decap Roc is not needed for floors which have been cured with a water-based curing agent (such as Ecocure 17). The surface should be cleaned with Roc Neutre, and then treated with Roc Finish.

Easy to mix and apply

Decap Roc is supplied as a fluid, ready to dilute with water on site. It can be applied using a floor scrubber or airless spray. After 5 or 10 minutes, the floor should be cleaned using a single-disc professional cleaning machine, with a red buffing pad and vacuum suction.

Clean and seal to finish

After Decap Roc has been removed, the floor should be cleaned with our cleaning detergent, Roc Neutre, to leave a clean, matt surface. Once dry, treat the floor with Roc Seal to provide solvent-based waterproofing and oil protection; or Roc Finish water-based emulsion.
